Highly Recommended
My mom has been lovingly taken care of at Mercy Ridge for the past 3 years. It has been such a relief to know that she is loved and cared for when I can't be there. I highly recommend Mercy Ridge to all my patients with parents who need a great stimulating environment. My mom always says how good the food is and I join her for dinner at least once a week, and she is right! Dr. Marie

Best Experience Ever
Due to the fact that my client moved in a few years ago, I have become a regular bi-weekly visitor at Mercy Ridge. I visit several assisted and independent living facilities as an outside consultant and Mercy Ridge has brought a lot of joy to my clients life. It has far surpassed her own expectations of hospitality living and she loves the food! My client had been living alone in a large house, she lost her husband 7 years ago so she had been a bit isolated and needed to be around other folks going through the same phase of life. At this age it was critical this be the right move for her. I recommend a gradual transition like she did, visit the facility a few times before the move, giving your senior ample time to adjust to the thought of moving into any facility. The staff at Mercy Ridge accommodated these wishes for my client and so when it came time for the move, the staff and surroundings were familiar to her. I commend the staff at Mercy Ridge and really find their community to be top notch. Job well done and deserving of a five star rating.

As good as it gets
We moved to Mercy Ridge in Timonium a little over 5 months ago and would like to share how very much we love it here. We chose a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, LR, kitchen apartment. Mercy Ridge is on such a beautiful landscaped campus. The exercise classes offer so much to make us all feel and stay well and improves our well-being. The instructor is a very dynamic lady who truly is concerned about all of us. She has programs for cardio, strength, balance, and a large enclosed heated pool with aquatic classes. There is a full gym with a full array of workout machines. It's just like being at a spa! We have fun games like water volleyball too. But the best part for me and my husband is the aquatic programs which ease our arthritis, joint and back pains. It's lots of fun when you're joined by your friends. The staff, from the Executive Director to the maids, and maintenance people go out of their way to help us. They are never too busy to greet us, listen to us and let us know they care about us. We have a fantastic Activity Director who plans a variety of daily entertainment programs. It's hard to choose what to do. There are so many programs offered. If a person gets bored here, it's by their own choosing. New programs are added every week. The dining meals are so well planned with a large selection to choose from at each meal. The Chefs continually ask for our input to ensure our satisfaction. The waiters, dietician, and managers are all so friendly, prompt and helpful. We really have to be careful with all the delicious desserts or we'll put on extra pounds! There's a lot of interaction between the staff and residents and they all have special talents. They greet us by name and give fantastic hugs. Other residents are like a new extended family and newcomers are quickly welcomed into the family. We feel so happy to be here. After all, there's no more cooking, cleaning house, lawn to mow, or house upkeep. After visiting us, our children are happy we're here in a safe, secure, and beautiful environment. There is a wonderful young lady who is our Marketing Director. She is passionate about showing people around Mercy Ridge, yet never is pushy or puts pressure on anyone. There is no reason to. You'll be thoroughly impressed when you visit.
